The 80s Brigade were solely created to fill an entertainment need in Southern California and have become a much sought after band. Performing the best rock hits of the 80s requires tremendous musicianship, energy and stage experience. Key musicians were brought together to bring this music to life like no other band can do; each member with vast experience in the genre. The result has become one of the most popular bands in the Inland Empire. Performing 60+ shows a year, the hype is real.

Astra Kelly is a pure talent with a lyric-based, melodic sound, soaring vocals and a passionate performance style. She fuses her Chicago roots in blues and rock with folk and americana elements. Ben Allen
Ben Allen is the perfect blend of Southern Soul and Mountain Folk. Hailing from a town near Yosemite, he transplanted to San Diego and set about crafting a uniquely powerful sound blending traditional mountain folk music with a more groove oriented soul style. After barely surviving multiple brain aneurysms, he left the hospital a driven man, determined to not waste a moment, but to pour his passion and soul into his music.

Halfway between the groovy country of Zac Brown and the smooth soul of Daryl Hall is Bob Karwin. In 1993, Bob packed up his Jeep and moved from Boston to San Diego. His blend of humor and thoughtful songwriting struck a chord and he began to develop a following. He is now a full fledged Californian, strolling the beaches and vowing to never shovel a driveway again.

Jarvis Brown

Jarvis Brown
Jarvis Brown is an original rock trio from Southern California that was formed in 2012 by guitarist Jesse Batiuk and drummer/vocalist Abraham Barton. In 2014, Jarvis Brown released their self-titled EP on iTunes that was engineered and mixed by Jeff Forrest (Blink 182, etc.), and they were nominated for a 2014 Artists In Music Award. In 2015, Jarvis Brown released an 11 song live album on iTunes called "Live in L.A." that was recorded at one their shows in Los Angeles. In January 2016 they released their single "Gimme More" on iTunes, and it won them a 2016 TV Music Award for "Best Rock". In 2017, Jarvis Brown released their new single "HWY 395" on iTunes, and they are currently touring the West Coast.

John Rankin

John Rankin
John began his musical journey studying classical violin. At age 16, he found a nylon-string guitar in his parent's basement and taught himself to play by writing his own music. He self-describes his style as rhythmic soul, and frequently uses a looper to mix violin, guitar, beats, and vocal harmonies throughout his live shows.

Beginning songwriting at the age of 15, Tara Honda's style of music has transformed into a mix of Indie, Pop and Rock influences. Empowered by her performance and musical studies since the age of 5, Honda's songs inspire and impact her audience from intimate acoustic settings to grand stages. Honda's 2012 EP album entitled "To See the Light" was recorded by sound engineer Wesley Switzer of Milestone Studios.
